New Blog!!

Recently my family and I have started using dōTERRA's Essential oils for our day to day ailments. We have been AMAZED at the immediate results we've seen in our health & well being. Sharing these oils with everyone I know has become a passion of mine. We started this blog so that others can experience the benefits of using these oils for themselves. They are 100% pure, effective & safe for the whole family to use.  We hope you'll check it out!

Strawberry Days Rodeo

Jordan and I were able to make it to the rodeo this year. (Thanks to my super sweet father-in-law for baby-sitting Payden) It was extra entertaining because my younger brother Keola and his friends did the Wild Cow Milking contest. I took a before and after picture of him. His team did a fine job of holding down the cow. Unfortunately they were not winners. It was so fun to watch the rodeo and spend time with our family.

Payden 15 Months Old

This little diva is 15 months old. She is doing so much these days. I love being home with her and watching her learn something new everyday. Here's what she's up to:

*She has started copying things we say. Some of the words she says regularly are Yes, No, Daddy, Mommy, Mom, Alley, Nana (banana), Water, Bed, Bye, Hi, Nose, Book,  Shoe, Cacka (Cracker), Dog, Truck & Boat.
*She does sign language for Food, More, Drink, and All Done.
*She can show you where her nose, eyes, ears, head, hands, teeth, tongue, mouth,  feet and toes are.
*If you tell her to, she will fold her arms, sit on her bum, clap her hands, wave hi or bye, stomp her feet, put her arms up, dance, blow her nose, blow on her food, smell, shake her head no and nod yes, give you five and stones.
*She can tell you what sound a dog, cow, chicken, pheasant and duck make.

*She loves her purses. She will get them out of the toy bin, throw it over her shoulder and yell "Bye" as she walks around the house.

*She loves our dog Alley and they play so well together. Payden calls for Alley and then yells "bed" trying to get her to go in her kennel so she can let her out again. Payden feeds her, pets her, chases her and gets chased by her. It's so stinking cute  to watch her playing on the floor with Alley and giggling.

*She loves water. She will play in the tub, pool, sprinkler, sink, and with any thing that has water and nothing makes her happier.
I am so lucky to get to be this girl's mommy. Jordan and I can't get enough of her. She lights up our world.

Gone Fishin

We headed up AF Canyon for some fishing. Payden was more interested in finding sticks, chasing our dog Alley, trying to get in the water, and putting gross things in her mouth. She was filthy and exhausted by the time we left. We each caught one fish.

Practicing her fishing stance.

Payden loved chewing up the sunflower seeds and spitting them out.

My catch of the day and Jordan's dinner.
All worn out!

The Zoo

Last week Amanda and I took the kids to the zoo for their first time. Payden loved it. The monkeys were her favorite and she cried when we took her away from them. One of the gorillas came right up to the glass in front of Payden and started tapping on the glass and bouncing. It was a fun day!
