Payden 9 Months

Payden had her 9 month appointment yesterday. Here are her stats:

Height: 26 inches 6.5 %tile
Weight: 16.8 LBS 13.6 %tile

She's just a little thing with a huge personality. The pediatrician said she is very advanced for her age. Here's what she's been up to lately:

*She got her first 2 bottom teeth over the weekend. She is VERY protective of them and will not show them to anyone. Whenever we try to get a peek she clamps her mouth shut and if we're able to pry it open she will immediately stick her tongue out and cover them up.
*She climbs the stairs
*She continues to practice walking and testing her balance.
*She dances when music is on or while playing with her toys.
*She can find her binky on her own. There is always one strapped in her carseat. She will crawl over to it and unhook it from the strap then put it in her mouth and carry on with her business.
*She's eating more and more table foods and likes to feed herself.

We are so lucky to have this little angel in our family.

Christmas 2009

We had so much fun with Payden this year. All December she would get so excited every time she saw my mom's tree and all the presents under it. On Christmas day we took some of our gifts over to my Parent's house so we could open them together. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast and then let Payden grab at all the wrapped gifts under the tree. Payden, Jordan and I were spoiled this year. Payden loved all her singing, talking, bright toys. She's used to playing with boxes, bags, and paper at our home so the real toys are now fun for her. She would dance and squeal at all of them.

After visiting my Grandparents and Jordan's Grandma we headed over to the Marcon's for dinner and a Christmas Party. I love being a part of their family because Christmas is extended for me. We ate, exchanged gifts, did our white elephant game and then some of us played Seindfeld Scene it. We had such a wonderful time with all our family. We are so grateful for all we have, all we've been given, and all we have to give. I hope everyone's Christmas was as wonderful as ours was.

Christmas Eve

We always spend Christmas Eve with my family. We play games, have dinner at Granny and Grandpa's, and play more games. When my cousin's and I were young we would re-enact the the Nativity. This year we attempted to do it with our kids. They were a little too young to want to be a part of the show but it was very cute to see them all dressed up. Payden was a lamb again since I already had the costume. My cousin-in-law Emily had fabulous props and costumes for the rest of the kids.

Marcon Christmas Party

We had our Annual Marcon Christmas Party and this year Jordan's parents were in charge. It turned our so good. We had a Nativity, white elephant exchange, great food and Santa even made a surprise appearance. I made Payden a lamb costume for the Nativity this year. She was so stinking cute in it.

Sabrina's Birthday

We celebrated our good friend Sabrina's birthday in the beginning of December. The four of us have been friends since Junior high. It's so fun to get together with these girls to catch up and reminisce. I hope Sabrina had a great birthday!

Payden 8 Months

I'm a little behind on posting and wanted to note some of the new things Payden started doing between 7 and 8 months, because she'll be 9 months in a week. I can't believe how fast she is growing. Here's what she's up too now:

*Crawling
*Sitting on her own
*Feeding herself finger foods
*She pulls herself up on everything to stand
*Walks, while holding onto furniture or our hands
*Starting to let go and stand on her own for a few seconds
*Puts herself to sleep at night and sleeps through the night
*Loves her binky, she finds it on her own and puts it in her mouth
*Still doesn't have any teeth
*Says "dadda" and "babba"
*Entertains us daily with her little personality

She really is such a good little baby. As long as she is fed, she will go anywhere and do anything. She likes her car seat now and has no problem taking naps in it. It is so hard for me to leave her every morning while I go to work. I miss her terribly! I'm on schedule to be done working and finally be a stay-at-home mom this spring and I can't wait!! I'm so grateful for my hard working man who understands how important this is for our family. Here's some video footage of our little girl...

Ercanbrack Christmas Party

We kicked off the Christmas holiday with the Ercanbrack family. Jordan's mom is an Ercanbrack so we get together with them about once a year. I was so excited for Payden to meet Santa Clause this year. I just have to say if there ever was or is a Santa Clause, this guy could have been him. He was great! Payden couldn't stop staring at him and playing with his beard.

Thanksgiving 2009

This year my side of the family held our Thanksgiving festivities at a church. We had great food, games, candy and company. I'm so grateful for all I have, especially my family, health, friends and the gospel.

New Moon

I went with Amanda and her sisters to see New Moon the Friday it came out. I thought it was a lot better then Twilight but I'm still not a fan of the movie's choice for Edward and Bella. It was worth watching though!
