Payden 1 Year

Our sweet little girl turned 1!. She amazes me everyday. She is growing fast and has already learned a lot. Jordan and I feel so blessed to be her parents. We can't get enough of her! We threw a party for her on Saturday. I'll get those pictures up soon. We also had her 1 year pictures taken. Here they are along with what she's up to these days:

*She has become quite the speed walker and always wants to go exploring.
*She loves to be outside.
*She waves and says "hi" and "bye" to everyone. It would be awkward if it wasn't so adorable. She will just say it over and over again whenever she sees people. It makes shopping with her interesting.
*We are working on phasing formula out and whole milk in. So far the only way we can get her to drink cow's milk is with a bottle and a little bit of formula mixed in. I don't know if we'll ever be able to get rid of the bottle for naps and car rides. She only likes water in her sippy cups.
*She LOVES to read books. This is pretty much the only way we can get her to snuggle up to us. She get's so excited for us to read to her. She remembers certain parts in the stories we read and will make the sounds that go with it or wave goodbye at the end. She'll also cry when you close the book. So stinkin cute!
*She is very vocal. She loves being the center of attention and will talk and yell until she gets it.
*She says "no, no", "daddy" & "yes".
*She can give "high fives".
